Privacy and kid safety
Robot Logic Lab is a Gunterbots school, run by Gunterbots LLC. It is built for families. Parents own the relationship.
What we collect on this waitlist
Your name, email, who is building (age band, not a child's name), which seat you want, and anything you type in the optional note. We use that to send the starter challenge and to tell you when founding spots open. We do not sell this list.
When the club is running
- Parents create and manage every account.
- We do not collect emails from kids under 13. US COPPA: we collect only what we need, with parent consent.
- No private messages between members.
- Showcase posts are approved before anyone else sees them. Robot-only videos are welcome — no faces needed.
- Inventor office hours are optional drop-in help. The kid brings the robot. A grown-up does not need to sit in; for under-13s, someone should be in the house. Sessions are recorded.
- Kids never need a chatbot account. Chatbot missions can be demoed in office hours so the kid still drives; a grown-up stays nearby because of age limits.
Robot Rules for AI
- Never share a name, address, school, photos, or passwords with an AI.
- AI can be confidently wrong. Test it before you trust it.
- Chatbots have minimum ages. Stay in the room on those missions. The kid still drives.
- AI is a tool, not a friend.
- Say when AI helped. You are the engineer.
